Nothing really special graphic wise about this photo; more or less a strong message.

I was followed by a group of "Sk8ter kidz" at the store today. Not only did they feel the need to follow me.. but they literally thought I couldn't hear them talking about me because I was 'a cripple'.

Needless to say they have very small minds.. and in my opinion, pitiful parents.

I ignored it, as I usually do to deny them any satisfaction of a response.. but it did unnerve me a little, I'll admit.

As terrible as an experience as that must have been I am glad you could channel it into a strong message. Good job.

Sorry to hear that happened to you :\ Unfortunate how many people there are who think like that and are so inconsiderate.

As for the artwork goes, it looks nice. As for improvements go, it might work well to enlarge the handicap symbol so that it's aligned with the bottom and top of the text? Making it more uniformed.

I can even imagine there being a transparent copy of the symbol enlarged and tilted in the background just to make it interesting. Maybe play around with it a bit, see if you come up with anything you like :]

i love this, not just because of the message, but because I simply love typography. It's my favorite type of graphic design. I have just one comment though... the third line seems a little crowded, not exactly sure of how to adjust that... but other then that it's fantastic.

maybe just because im too sensitive. when i look at cripple, i feel sorry for them. 'cause im tryin' to think myself just like them. It reminds me how kind and generous of God gave me this life.
For someone talking behind cripple people, i think they have no heart.

I know somewhat how you feel -- my husband has cerebral palsy, and we often get these 'looks' from people when we're in public that seem to say, "what's that normal chick doing with that cripple?" I could be paranoid, but I somehow doubt it!

LOL you just gave me an idea for a poster for one of my pet peeves ... normal people who park in handicap spaces.
